Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, or have a parent or guardian's permission. Keep your password private, keep your email address current, and tell us if you think your account has been compromised. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to post anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights; to spam, advertise, or impersonate anyone; to scrape the site in a way that burdens it; or to probe, interfere with or circumvent its security. The DMCA policy covers copyright complaints. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, with or without notice depending on the severity.
Your content
You own the comments you post. By posting, you give Paranormal Daily a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display and distribute them as part of the service, including in feeds and to the news pages they belong to. You are responsible for having the right to post what you post. You can delete your comments at any time, and deleting your account deletes them.
Our content and the news
The broadcast scripts, the anchors, the studio, the Knowledge Base and the design of the site are ours or licensed to us. The news stories the broadcast is built from belong to the outlets that reported them; we summarize them, credit them out loud and link to them, and we claim nothing in the original reporting. If you believe we have used your work beyond what fair use and attribution allow, use the DMCA policy.
Summaries and scripts are produced with automated tools from published articles. They are meant to be accurate to their sources and are checked against them, but they can contain errors, and they are not investment, legal, safety or purchasing advice. Read the original reporting before relying on anything.
The broadcast and the articles report on claims of ghosts, hauntings, cryptids and other paranormal phenomena, as news and for entertainment. Reporting a claim is not endorsing it, and nothing on the service is medical, psychological, legal or safety advice. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that any content is accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Paranormal Daily and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past twelve months or fifty US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; where they apply to you, ours are limited only as far as they permit.
Termination
You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time (see Data Deletion Instructions). We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do.
Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms; we will post the new version here with its date and announce material changes to account holders by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
